Well today let's see.... Took my
2nd part of the spanish test today and like always it was freakin'
easy. She let us use our notes...during a test...why you ask...i don't
know
In social
studies we were talking about the pros and cons of biotechnology in the
food industry. I personally don't care. If anything I'm for it. If it
can end world hunger, make better food, and potentially make vaccine's
to medicine then i say, hey what the heck. Especially if they're been
testing it since the 70's to see if there's potential side effects.
Which there aren't. We've also been eating it for what...12 years now?
Do I sound like I'm sick or dying?
It was so
exciting in orchestra today! We split up into small groups to learn a
new song individually to perform in front of the class, and I got to
play first violin! WOOT! I sounded pretty good too. The real first
violin played second because he has absolutely no rhythm and you can't
even hear him when you're standing two feet away. It was
super awesome though. It had a piano accompaniment and it was so
pretty!
In Language Arts we started reading this book called Night.
It's about a man's experiences through the Holocaust. I can't even
imagine what it would be like going through an experience like that. If
I was prosecuted for being Mormon I don't know where I would go or what
I would do. It's just a horrible thought.
In Science we
finally took our Jurassic Park test. First we had a quiz over the list
of characters, which I think I did pretty good on but I might've
confused Maldoon and Harding, but meh it don't matter. After that we
took the essay portion of the test which counted the same as test
grade!!!! so I hope I did good, but I know I did because
I'm a genius. I got the subject I wanted the most, which was the Chaos
Theory. I'm soooo glad I got it. I wrote a pretty freakin' good essay
and it better get me an A. I would have been so freakin'
screwed if I got the other two subjects! I knew nothing about
them, and that would not have been cool.
Well nothing really
happened today. We got a star wars song in orchestra today! It's pretty
cool but it's hard to play, especially since no one knows how it's
supposed to sound but kt lol. I took my spanish, to kill a mockingbird
and science test today. OMG the science test was so freakin' hard. It
was over all this crap that i didn't even know.
but... I
FINISHED JURASSIC PARK! woot. :D stupid book took forever to read. It
wasn't bad just kinda' scientific and not my style. It was pretty crazy
though how like everyone died at the end except the stupid little girl.
God i swear i hate girls in books and movies 99% of the time.
Especially when they're little annoying brats. I wanted the T-Rex to
eat her.....I pretty much only like girls if the kick butt
like Tifa or something.
I've recently discover the German
band Tokio Hotel and I've gottas say they're pretty sweet. I've never
really listened to European music, but I think they're a good first
try. They've been out for like 5 years now and they're like the best
selling German band ever or something like that. They have an English
CD coming out...tomorrow I think. Ne way's they're really good, but the lead
singer's got some crazy spikiness goin' on. Looks like a black cat on
his head or the likeness
Well the orchestra trip to Nashville is finally over. It was super fun
and i loved it!! Too much to type though so i'm not even gonna' try.
I'll post pics once kt and sara upload them.
Everyone was so tired today, I
swear all the orchestra people were dead. I came in late because I was
so tired. I din't get any extra sleep though because of this stupid
daylights savings time. I woke up at 8 and read jurassic park. I'm so
glad that i read it over the trip because now i only have 80 pages
left.
That's
the only good part about my homework. I have to take my spanish,
science, and to kill a mocking bird test tomorrow, start my to kill a
mockingbird project, and finish my questions and article for to kill a
mocking bird. Type up my odyssey paper, finish my Jurassic Park study
guide crap and do my crap load of spanish homework. Why couldn't my
trip have been this weekend?! Darn you to heck nashville
trip!!!!!

Wow I haven't posted on xanga for a long time, and I just realized I've
had this weblog for almost 2 years now! Boy have I changed since then!!
In some ways I'm less mature, like my love for boy bands and anime lol,
but I have grown too. But enough of the boring stuff I'll guess I'll
just jump into my life.
Lately i've been feeling the need
to write my life down so it doesn't pass me by, like it's been doing
lately, so i guess i'll take the time to write my thoughts
out.
Today we had this drug awareness thing come to our
school and before I even say anything else, it was a complete waste of
time. We started off the day in homeroom and I listened to my crazy
homeroom teacher talk in her bird voice and read "To Kill a
Mockingbird". It's a pretty good book and i'm in the midst of the
trial. Anyways after
our brief homeroom we went to the gym to hear this
x-cigarette-model-guy talk to us about smoking and what it did to him
and his kids. He was pretty funny and I enjoyed it but sometimes his
voice became a bit irritating and it was hard to sit through. He showed
pictures of his kids and was joking in a way that made it enjoyable to
listen to him speak. After that we
went to lunch and finally had lunch with the whole grade which was
pretty nice since we never do that! I ate my pb&j with my
goldfish and orange but i forgot to fill my water bottle so i was so
parched!! We grabbed a long table since like 20 other people sat with
us, and it got pretty crowded. I sat with Josephine, Katie, Sara,
Julia, Jason B, And Jason W, and Jin with a whole bunch of other
people. After that we
went out to the bus lot and pretty much just stood around for 30
minutes. Police-men and such had set up stands for us to look
at but there really wasn't anything but a dog so we just
talked the whole time. Lol me and KT
were messing around and hugging like black people where you grab hands
and bump chests but she accidently punched me in the neck and it hurt
so bad!! lol it was pretty funny though. After just chiling for a while
they called us into the auditorium where we did a couple of things.
First we had a 30 year old man
come who had been in a car crash, and was now paralyzed come talk to us
and share his story. He used a program to talk to us through
his computer and his mother also talked to us. He was trying
to tell us how important it is not to drink and drive because he used
to be the big-man-on-campus and was a mvp baseball player until he got
in the car with a drunk driver and crashed. I hate to say this but it
was a story i've heard a million times before but still doesn't effect
me. I know I'm never going to drink,smoke,do drugs, participate in
premarital sex or anything like that so activities like today are
pretty much just a waste of time. After watching his video our principal came out and was
giving out some useless prizes like candy and bullpen money and things
like that. The one thing i didn't get though was why people would clap
for them when they won something, it's not like they did something to
win, they just got lucky. Anyways
after that some policemen came and talked about nonsense that i wasn't
even listening to and i just wanted to go to sleep. Once that torture
was over we went back to the gym and i started to get a head-ache.
We had another guest speaker come
and try to motivate us to change the world or something but the one
thing that really stuck me was how messed up her life was. She's like a
walking tragedy lol. She was talking about how she was the outcast at
school when she was in middle school and how her brother was in a car
crash and how her daughter was born 3 months pre-mature. She was also
talking a bout some crap on how she wasn't the highschool mascot when
she was 5 because she had some speech impediment. but w/e. omg it was
so long though and i just wanted to go home. kt was braiding my hair
and made me look like a freak but it was funny lol. The one thing i really wanted to see was the car crash
simulation and only the stupid seniors got to see it and it mad me mad
since there was a grim reaper and kids had makeup on that made them
look like they were in the car crash and i didn't get to see
it!
Our orchestra trip is next week Thursday and I'm so
excited! We're going to Nashville TN, and it's going to be awesome. The
only non-awesome part is that we have to go with all the retards in
orchestra. They're freakin' idiots and i want to beat them up! But
we're going on a showboat and staying across from the Oprey and it's
going to be cool.
I finally found a calendar for my
sister's birthday. It took me forever to find since it's sold out
everywhere but i found a website that has all this sold out dbsk and
super junior stuff. it's amazing! the only thing is that I've heard
some reports say that it's over priced and that when you order
collectible things it might not have all it's components but that' ok
because it has the all about dbsk 1 with English subs and i want it
really bad! it'd be like $110 with shipping but i think i might save up
money and buy it. Who knows?
